TEALE

AGGREGATES, TIPPER BULK SOIL DISPOSAL, CONCRETE & WASTE MANAGEMENT.

Saving our customers time & money with circularity.

An insight into our company:

In 1971, a 20-year-old Michael Teale had saved up from early years of hard work to purchase his first 4W wagon. He set about delivering coal to heat homes. From there, he branched off & set out on his journey into the materials, excavation & waste recycling world. Joined in 2015 by his 18-year-old son Josh, he began to sit back & watch Josh take the lead. The idea was to throw him in the deep end, from which he would learn from his own mistakes & keep moving forward. This proved true. Josh arrived when there was a fleet of just 2 8W tippers. The total headcount was just 7, including himself.

2018 saw the arrival of Josh’s twin brother Jake, who had just obtained a BSc Hons degree in Mathematics. Joining forces, the brothers set out on their campaign to keep pressing on with the company. Jake & Josh possess a drive to improve efficiencies. The business still relatively small but lean, operates a fleet of 12 vehicles, significant mobile & fixed plant and a team of 25. The aim is to keep pushing & seize any opportunities if/when they arise in a bid to keep improving the well-oiled machine that is TEALE Recycled Sand & Aggregates.

Hence, our customers deservedly enjoy an unrivalled service.

Our circular model:

A large part of our focus has been the supply of quality recycled & virgin aggregates throughout the Blackpool, Wyre, Fylde Coast & Lancashire region. With over 50 years of experience, we are confident that we can supply a superior service with quality material guaranteed. All our aggregates are produced in full accordance with the WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) quality protocol and many in line with Highway Works Specifications. Our facilities accept excavated non-hazardous soils & hard materials (concrete, hardcore, tarmac, as dug ballast etc.) which are all inspected & assessed in accordance with WM3 guidance before tipping. Processes at our Kingscourt Recycling Centre site in Poulton-le-Fylde include crushing, screening & washing.

We own & operate extensive plant & equipment, including a state-of the art non-hazardous C&D wash plant & a ready-mix concrete collection plant.

We take pride in processing excavations throughout the North West to supply key sustainable construction products to the market. We provide a fully integrated, circular solution for supplying aggregate & concrete materials, offering significant cost & carbon savings versus virgin stone, sand & gravel. We know what our clients want, efficiency backed up with great prices.

We ❤️ Sustainable Construction Products.

OUR FOUR STEP RECYCLING PROCESS.

We assess excavated materials, arrange collection and recover suitable loads at our Poulton-le-Fylde recycling centre. Recycled sand and aggregates then return to construction projects across Blackpool, the Fylde Coast and Lancashire.

Step 01

Assess the site

We assess the site and underlying ground in line with WM3, helping identify the materials present and the most appropriate route for treatment, recovery or disposal.

Step 02

Excavate and remove

Materials are carefully excavated and transported to an appropriate permitted receiving site, ready for the next stage of the process.

Step 03
Recover and process

Suitable materials are crushed, screened and washed for reuse. Where processing is not appropriate, materials can be directed to approved restoration projects.

Step 04

Return materials to construction

We supply aggregates, sands, topsoil and ready-mix concrete back into construction projects, reducing waste and helping to close the loop.

Professional muckaway, tipper haulage and site clearance, backed by over 50 years’ experience and a modern fleet of 8-wheel tipper lorries.

Teale provides muckaway, tipper haulage and site clearance across Blackpool, the Fylde Coast and Lancashire. With more than 50 years’ experience and a modern fleet of 8-wheel tippers, we can support anything from a single load to ongoing earthworks.

We handle suitable inert and non-hazardous soils, recyclable hardcore and other construction materials. Where required, hazardous soils can be directed to approved treatment facilities.

Our own plant with supplied company operators can load excavated material, and grab hire is available where conventional loading of tippers is difficult. Picked up 500kg of 10 mm gravel. Great telephone manner on first contact. Absolutely amazing price. And the guy who loaded my trailer (whose bucket loader has a minimum of a tonne apparently) gently dropped 500kg in my trailer. I mean, 500kg on the button after I’d already said it was rated to 510kg… I’ll be back.

I recently used a recycled aggregates disposal site for my landscaping project, and it was awesome! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and gave me great advice on what type and quantity of recycled aggregates to use. The materials were clean, well-sorted, and clearly marked as recycled, which made me feel good about my eco-friendly choice. The disposal site itself was also impressive. It was well-maintained and easy to navigate, with clear instructions for waste disposal. The staff were available to answer my questions and made the whole process a breeze. Overall, I would definitely recommend this recycled aggregates disposal site to anyone in need of reliable and eco-friendly waste disposal services. The staff, materials, and facilities were all top-notch, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
